Program Description: The Associate of Science degree in Music Technology is designed for students who intend to seek employment in the commercial music field and for those who are presently employed in the music technology field and desire advancement. MUS2940 MUSIC TECHNOLOGY CO-OP WORK EXPERIENCE is a restricted course. Students are encouraged to research and apply for an internship in their preferred field, with a legitimate and active organization. To enroll, the internship site must be approved by the Program Manager.

Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates from this program will:
- Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of musical structure, listening skills, key centers, and basic rhythm foundations in 4/4 time signature.
- Students must show mastery of the following time based effects: Delay (including chorus, flanging and phasing), Reverb and Pitch-shifting.
- Students must show mastery of signal flow in both the DAW and in analog applications.
- Students must show understanding and mastery of the following time-based effects: Volume, Panning, Equalization and Compression.
- Ensure that upon completion of the Music Production Technology AS Program graduates will be able to mix and reinforce sound in a variety of studio and live environments.
- Graduates will demonstrate efficiency with project management of live or recorded music performances.
- Graduates will be able to source and purchase quality equipment based on research and evaluation of suppliers and products.
- Graduates will be evaluate music contracts to protect intellectual property.
