The Broward College Employment Solutions (career services) department is a student’s one-stop-shop for career readiness, professional development, internships, and job placement services. Employment Solutions provides resources and support to students at every stage of their academic and professional journeys.

Employment Solutions Provides Assistance With:

• Career readiness and professional development planning
• Resume and cover letter assistance
• Interview preparation and mock interviews
• Networking opportunities and employer connections
• Career readiness workshops and professional skill-building
• Access to internships, part-time jobs, full-time employment, and “earn while you learn” opportunities that provide valuable real-world experience

• Access to state-recognized Career Readiness and Soft Skills Certifications
• Career fairs, employer spotlights, recruitment events, pathway-specific Lunch & Learn sessions, and on-campus hiring opportunities

Appointments:

Many Employment Solutions services are available both in person and virtually, providing students with flexible access to career support and resources. Students may schedule appointments for assistance through Handshake, Broward College's official career platform. Students may also visit one of our on-campus offices for in-person assistance.

Employment Solutions encourages all students to engage with career development services throughout their academic experience. Through Broward College Handshake, students can:

• Search and apply for internships and employment opportunities
• Register for career fairs, workshops, and professional development events
• Connect directly with employers and recruiters
• Receive notifications about hiring events and recruitment opportunities
• Access career readiness resources and tools

Students are encouraged to complete and maintain an updated Handshake profile through OneLogin to maximize visibility to employers and recruiters.
