Career Pathway: Health Sciences
Program Entrance Requirements: Currently certified in Radiography (ARRT), Radiation Therapy (ARRT), or Nuclear Medicine Technology (AART or NMTCB).
• Licensed with the Florida Department of Health for Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy.
• Obtain a medical examination by a qualified health care practitioner.
• Be fingerprinted for the purpose of a background check through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and complete an online background check.
Program content follows the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) curriculum to prepare program completers for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination in Computed Tomography.
Program Description: This Advanced Technical Certificate (ATC) program is available to Radiologic Technologists (RTs) who hold credentials from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). It is designed for RTs who want to become proficient in Computed Tomography (CT) as an advanced modality and to help them prepare for the ARRT's CT advanced modality registration exam. This advanced technical certificate program is one semester and three courses.
