Designed to reinforce course concepts and advance academic achievement, the Academic Success Centers (ASCs) provide quality tutoring and support services to currently enrolled and registered Broward College students in a comfortable, collaborative atmosphere. Tutoring services from highly qualified and certified tutors are available in multiple subject areas at the ASC. Students are encouraged to utilize ASC services early and often to develop college-level study skills and become independent learners.

Services provided by the ASC include:

• Academic support areas and labs (Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, English as a Second Language, Modern Foreign Language, Math, Science, Nursing, STEM, Writing)
• In-person and remote one-on-one and group appointment sessions
• Certified tutors
• Collaborative project space
• Graphing calculators (loan)
• Laptops (loan)
• Open computer centers with printing, scanning, and faxing
• Study groups
• Textbook reserves
• Quiet study spaces
