Program Entrance Requirements: Minimum AA, AS or AAS degree (from a Regionally Accredited Institution) and 2.0 out of 4.0 GPA in all previous post-secondary work. Students with 60 credit hours but not holding a degree may be admitted to the program upon approval of the Associate Dean or Dean if the AS General Education requirements have been satisfied and all other criteria are met.
Program Description: The Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Information Technology – Web Development provides individuals who hold an Associate degree the opportunity to further their education. Students completing this program will have the skills and knowledge required to become successful Information Technology Professionals and Leaders. The curriculum offers a learner-centered and practical approach to understanding and applying Computer Information Technology.
Special Admissions Requirement for BAS Program: A supplemental application is required for this program will need to be completed and can be found here.
Foreign Language Requirement: Students must successfully complete the foreign language requirement as prescribed in college policy and the college catalog. You can find further information on the foreign language requirement here.
General Education Courses: Will vary based on a student’s transcript. Total General Education credits must total 36 as outlined here.
Program Competency: Once admitted, students must complete 18 credits of program competencies during their beginning semesters. Program competency courses are pre-requisites are pre/co-requisites to all program courses.

Students must complete the General Education requirement. If a student has completed the requirements through the A.S. program, the student may choose from the list of approved recommended program electives below.

An IT Internship is recommended or students will take an approved upper level (UL) course from the approved recommended program electives below. To earn earn ATC 4283 and ATC 4292 students must take an elective.

Students must complete the General Education requirement. General Education Wellness and General Education Science Lab is recommended but students may take any General Education course to satisfy this area. If a student has completed the requirements through the A.S. program, the student may choose from the list of approved recommended program electives below

Students must satisfy the Digital Literacy requirement by testing out, completing a Credit for Prior Learning portfolio, or passing CGS1060C COMPUTER AND INTERNET LITERACY.
In addition to the courses marked, students must also complete additional credits, to earn the corresponding Advanced Technical Certificate(s) as indicated by its program of study to achieve the Total Credits.
