HUM1020  FOUNDATIONS OF THE HUMANITIES  (3.00 Credits)
In this course, students will learn about the creative ideas and accomplishments of various cultures in various fields of humanities that may include art, architecture, drama, history, music, literature, philosophy, and religion. The course will include cultural expressions from the Western canon and may also include expressions from around the globe. HUM1020 is a writing credit course. Students must earn a minimum grade of C to meet the requirements of the Gordon Rule for writing. HUM1020 meets the International/ Intercultural competency requirement.

HUM2700  HUMANITIES TRAVEL STUDY  (3.00 Credits)
Humanities Travel Study is a face-to-face introduction to the nature and scope of the Humanities in selected geographical areas. Students will become knowledgeable about the uniqueness, the historical development, and influences of the area's humanities content as expressed in its music, art, theater, religion, literature, philosophy, etc. HUM2700 combines classroom preparation and foreign travel. This is a repeatable course.
