Program Entrance Requirements: Students must have graduated from a Medical Assisting College Credit Certificate (CCC) or (PSAV) program.
Program Description: The Medical Assisting program is a degree completion option for students who have completed a Medical Assisting College Credit Certificate (CCC) or (PSAV) program. Students who complete a Medical Assisting Career Certificate Program from an Institution using the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Curriculum Frameworks shall receive 44 college credits toward the Medical Assisting A.S. degree.
Additional Program Information
Students must complete all required coursework with a grade of “C” or higher and earn a minimum degree grade point average of 2.0.
