Program Description: The Computer Information Technology - Information Technology Associate in Science degree exposes students to applications programming, networking, systems administration, database management, information security, project management and web development. It is designed for students seeking the skills set needed to be successful in their careers in the field of information technology.

Students may take OST1103C BASIC KEYBOARDING, SLS1501 COLLEGE SUCCESS SKILLS, OST1330 BUSINESS ENGLISH, GEB2430 BUSINESS ETHICS, OST2053 SUCCESSFUL JOB SEARCH or any course with the following prefix: CTS, COP, CIS, CET, or ISM.

Students must satisfy the Digital Literacy requirement by testing out, completing a Credit for Prior Learning portfolio, or passing CGS1060C COMPUTER AND INTERNET LITERACY.

Graduates from this program will:
- Configure IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, including but not limited to: configuring IP options, subnetting, supernetting, alternative configuration.
- Demonstrate the ability to read a routing table.
- Summarize the properties of a project and classify project roles and responsibilities.
- Implement the 3 phases of database design; conceptual, logical, and physical to design & query a relational database.
- Demonstrate the ability to create partitions and filesystems.
