CLO 1: 1.0 The student shall demonstrate an enhanced understanding of and appreciation for human diversity within the social environments of the Deaf/deaf/Hard-of-Hearing/hearing communities. The students shall demonstrate cultural literacy through the effective use of expressive and receptive American Sign Language as well as a variety of activities and interactions with members of the Deaf Community.
CLO 2: 2.0 The student shall receptively and expressively demonstrate a highly advanced understanding of conceptual accuracy, syntax, grammatical structure, and linguistic principles embedded within the discourse of American Sign Language.
CLO 5: 5.0 The student shall receptively and expressively demonstrate an advanced understanding of non-manual markers, role-shifting, body-shifting, conditional sentences, topicalization, and questioning techniques.
CLO 6: 6.0 The student shall expressively and receptively demonstrate an advanced understanding of verb tense and the ASL Timeline, as well as an advanced understanding of sequencing techniques, conjunctions, and contextual modification of verbs and adjectives in American Sign Language.
CLO 7: 7.0 The student shall expressively and receptively demonstrate advanced proficiency with the use of directional verbs, spacial mapping and directionality, listing, and organization.
CLO 8: 8.0 The student shall expressively and receptively demonstrate advanced proficiency with the various uses of classifiers.
