This course introduces the field of public health including its history, basic principles, core disciplines, and current events. It will provide a broad framework for understanding public health's role in community health, prevention, and medicine. Basic principles of epidemiology and the core disciplines will be introduced using case studies. The importance of one health and global health will be emphasized and realted to real life applications.
